  Half Girlfriend : Review

Few days ago i read the novel half girlfriend written by Chetan Bhagat, the famous novelist and one of my favorite writers. I found the novel interesting and erotic too. It was like a fairy tale, something that usually happens in the love stories, fiction or movies. As far as my view is concerned the love story like Riya & Madhav rarely exists in today's world.
While reading the each chapter of the novel i felt myself into the dream world, where a simple guy is madly in love with a girl of his dream, his love is so pure and true that nothing restricts him to get his love forever. As if they were meant to be each other. The character portrayal of Madhav Jha is really awesome and mind boggling. His thoughts, actions, responsibilities towards family, friendship and last but not the least his serene love for Riya somani. It is clearly revealed in the novel that Madhav is not at all after Riya's wealth & status, though he is crazy about her pure beauty and her inner strength.
On the contrary Riya is the stong character, who is beautiful, intelligent, quite and head strong personality. Instead of being rich and high class girl, she never puts down the ordinary guy like Madhav. Her love for singing depicts that money is not everything but the internal peace matters a lot. I felt myself in Riya. The sort of nature she carries in the novel is more like my real nature. I do have the qualities and way of thoughts that riya had in the novel. Most interestingly she graduated from English Literature, so did I. On the contrary her love for music and theatre is same as my affection and determination towards music and theater in my college days.
Apart from he main protagonists, other characters in the novel have good influence on readers. Lastly I would say, it was the novel which depicts not only the true love but also the determination, struggle, longings, desire, passion, pain, sufferings, quarrels, arguments, prosperity & divinity.

It's true the moment I saw you, i knew you were the one. Your heart was fire, like magic, an arrow shot from a gun. Your eyes, ...
